Hero MotoCorp, a manufacturer of two-wheelers, and Ather Energy, an EV manufacturer, announced a cooperation on Wednesday that will allow owners of electric vehicles to access each other’s fast-charging networks. This is the world’s first interoperable fast-charging network specifically designed for electric two-wheelers.
A statement on December 6 said that Hero MotoCorp and Ather Energy have partnered to create an interoperable fast-charging network in India. “EV users will be able to use both VIDA and Ather Grids across the nation with ease thanks to this collaboration.” According to the release, “the combined network will cover 100 cities with over 1,900 fast-charging points.”
It was stated that by bolstering the EV market as a whole and encouraging a convenient ownership experience, the interoperable network will hasten the adoption of EVs.

Building a “Worry-free EV ecosystem” is part of VIDA’s brand promise, and this nation’s largest charging network will let customers enjoy a simple and convenient ownership experience.
He continued, saying that this fastest-growing network makes use of the government-approved connector standard, guaranteeing that both present and future consumers would be able to use and charge their cars without any issues. I commend the Ather and VIDA teams for establishing yet another international standard in the two-wheeler EV market.

He claimed that by having this interoperability, we are already showing why having a single standard among all OEMs is advantageous. The infrastructure for two-wheeler public charging is now scheduled for cooperative expansion.
