3 Hyundai SUVs Will Soon Arrive in India

0

Hyundai intends to launch a number of cars in the Indian market, ranging from EVs to ICE models, in an effort to boost sales. Early in the upcoming year, the corporation plans to venture into the EV market. Furthermore, significant modifications will soon be made to the current models as well. The three future Hyundai SUVs that will be introduced to our market in 2025–2026 will be covered in this news article.

Hyundai Creta EV

In January 2025, the Korean company will introduce its first electric SUV, which will be based on the Creta SUV. According to reports, the new model, which is expected to be dubbed the Hyundai Creta EV, will go into production by December 2024. In January 2025, the production-ready vehicle is anticipated to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Show.

The majority of the Creta EV’s design will be kept from the standard ICE variant. It will, however, have several design modifications unique to EVs, including as revised bumpers, newly aero-optimized alloy wheels, and a closed-off front grille housing the charging port. There will also be some improvements to the dashboard layout, including a new color scheme.

This SUV has a redesigned Ioniq 5-like 3-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, an electronic parking brake, repositioned ventilated seat buttons, and a drive selector stalk on the steering column. It is anticipated to include a 45kWh battery pack and an electric motor installed on the front axle, which is probably the same as the Kona EV that is now available for purchase worldwide. The output power and torque are 136 horsepower and 255 Nm, respectively. It is anticipated to have a 450-kilometer range between charges. The new Creta EV, which is expected to cost between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 22 lakh, will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and the soon-to-be Maruti Suzuki eVX.

New-Gen Hyundai Venue

Hyundai plans to introduce the Venue’s second generation model to the Indian market in 2025. The new-generation venue, which is internally dubbed QU2i—where “i” stands for India—will receive numerous improvements. Although the project’s specifics are being kept under wraps, the spy photos verify that the package will include an entirely new design that is comparable to the current generation of Hyundai SUVs, such as the most recent Creta and Alcazar, an upgraded interior layout, and an expanded feature set.

According to sources, Hyundai’s new Talegaon-based manufacturing facility would produce the impending next-generation Venue as its debut model. The next-generation Venue is probably going to keep the present lineup of engine options. Along with a number of new technologies like ADAS Level 2 and a panoramic sunroof, it will have a completely revamped interior and exterior. Autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, lane assistance, and other functions are all part of ADAS Level 2. The current 1.2L NA gasoline, 1.5L turbo diesel, and 1.0L turbo gasoline engines will still be available.

Hyundai Tucson Facelift

The Hyundai Tucson Facelift will arrive in India in 2025 after being unveiled globally in November of last year. A mid-life facelift upgrade is currently due for the current version of the luxury SUV, which had its domestic premiere in August 2022. The Tucson will undergo a makeover, which will bring the SUV into compliance with the brand’s most recent design philosophy. The well-known 2.0-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine with 156 horsepower and the 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 186 horsepower will still power the upgraded SUV. The top-spec diesel version will also have AWD available as an option, just like the present model.
