As of April, in India the waiting period for the Mahindra XUV400 EV can last up to 4 months. The Mahindra XUV400 retails for between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh in our market. Everything is priced ex-showroom. Since its introduction in the nation, the electric SUV, according to the automaker, has been the most well-liked model. Despite being a popular model in the lineup, the EV has shorter wait times than other well-known Mahindra vehicles. The Mahindra XUV400 EV has two different mechanical battery pack configurations: 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh.
These batteries are powered by an electric motor that has a 150bhp and 310Nm output. The smaller battery has a range of 375 kilometres, while the larger battery has a range of 456 kilometres, according to MIDC. The Mahindra XUV400 comes in two variations: EC and EL. The waiting period mentioned only applies to the top-spec EL version because deliveries of the base EC model will begin later in 2023, around the holiday season.
The shortest waiting period for the Mahindra XUV400 is two to three months in Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Coimbatore. Delhi, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Faridabad, on the other hand, can take up to three and a half months to reach. Three to four months are spent waiting in Mumbai, Gurugram, Patna, and Indore. Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thane, Ghaziabad, and Noida have the four-month wait times that are the longest among the cities.
The Mahindra XUV300 served as design inspiration for the Mahindra XUV400, though it is bigger.
Compared to the XUV300, which measures 3995mm in length, the Mahindra XUV400 is 4200mm longer. A blocked-off grille, bumper garnish with projector headlamps and LED DRLs, and satin-copper arrowhead inlays are all present on the front of the electric vehicle (EV). The EV also has 16-inch alloy wheels and identical-looking LED taillamps with copper accents.
The electric SUV’s interior is exactly like the XUV300’s, with the exception of a deeper finish and copper accents. Although the instrument cluster still has analogue dials, the 7-inch infotainment touchscreen has a new user interface. A new Mahindra drive selector has been installed in place of the gear lever. Along with other features, the car has a sunroof, cruise control, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
