The Delhi Auto Expo is quickly approaching, and a slew of manufacturers are preparing to show off a variety of concepts, new models, and facelifted models. The show returns after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The Expo Expo will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from the 13th to the 18th of January 2023.
Tata Motors is expected to showcase the electric version of the Punch EV at the Auto Expo
To differentiate itself from the ICE variant, the Tata Punch EV will receive exterior and interior changes. The EV will also have electric-themed styling cues, as well as an Electric-specific Teal Blue shade with a tri-arrow design and the ‘humanity’ line grille found on other Tata EVs.
On the inside, the Punch EV will look similar to its gasoline counterpart. It will have a dark-toned interior with EV-themed colour detailing, including electric blue accents around the instrument panel, AC vents, and on the seat fabric, which has a tri-arrow pattern.
The Tata Punch EV will be built on the ALFA platform, which also serves as the foundation for the Altroz hatchback. The Punch EV is also expected to be powered by the Ziptron electric powertrain that powers the Tiago and Tigor EV, but with slightly different tuning and higher power output figures. The Tata Punch is expected to produce 90-100 hp of power and 170-200 Nm of torque.
