MG Motor unveiled the new ES5 EV. The ES5, which was leaked ahead of time, has a completely new exterior design and a drastically different internal arrangement. The ZS EV is anticipated to be replaced by the ES5, which will be offered in European markets. Let’s examine its features, construction, and attributes.

MG ES5 Electric SUV: Configuration & Features

The brand-new Nebula platform, created by SAIC, serves as the foundation for the electric SUV. The brand is thought to have utilized the ES5’s thinnest battery pack. Its single-motor RWD configuration allows it to produce 250 Nm of torque and 165 horsepower, with a maximum speed of 170 kmph. Precise details are still to be disclosed. According to reports, it has three battery packs with a combined range of 425, 515, and 525 kilometers.

Its measurements are 1,621 mm in height, 1,849 mm in width, and 4,476 mm in length, with a 2,730 mm wheelbase. In terms of design, it features an aggressive-looking front fascia with Shark-inspired accents. Split headlights, the C-shaped front outlines, the angular triple-element LED DRL signature, 5-spoke alloy wheels, a dynamic spoiler, and integrated LED tail lights are a few of the exterior characteristics.

It also comes with a range of exterior paint choices. We anticipate that MG will stick with the moniker in order to carry on the tradition, considering the reputation that the ZS EV has managed to establish for itself. The Maruti eVX, Toyota Urban Sport, Honda Elevate EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV.e8 and XUV.e9, and Tata Sierra EV are among the vehicles the ES5 will compete against when it debuts. Rather than the ZS EV playing alone, this will be a completely new battle. The ZS EV of the future is the MG ES5.
