In the side pole impact test, it showed excellent protection for the head and chest. It also fared well in the side movable barrier test, shielding the abdomen and head.

The newest coupe SUVs from domestic manufacturer Tata Motors, the Curvv and Curvv.ev, have both earned a 5-star safety rating in crash testing conducted as part of the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), which assesses cars based on how safe they are in a variety of impact situations.

In terms of adult occupant protection, the coupe-SUV received 30.81 out of 32 points, and in terms of kid occupant protection, 44.83 out of 49 points. Additionally, the rating given above is valid for the whole lineup of EV models. Bharat NCAP assessed the diesel-manual Accomplished + A variant of the Tata Curvv.

You can view the complete report that Bharat NCAP has made available.Six airbags, anti-glare IRVM, ESC, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and more are among the standard safety features of the Tata Curvv.

Additional features including rear defogger, TPMS, hill-descent control, ADAS with 20 functions, and other active and passive safety technologies are included in higher models. High levels of occupant protection in side-impact collisions were demonstrated by both models’ performance in the side moveable deformable barrier test, where the Curvv scored 14.85 points and the Curvv.ev scored 15.15 points.

In the category of CRS installation, both cars scored a perfect 12 out of 13, while in the overall vehicle assessment for kid safety, they received a score of 9 out of 13.

These ratings are applicable to all Tata Curvv ICE and EV models.
