Future Hyundai Creta EV Seen Testing Once More: Fresh Information

Here are the most recent spy photos of Hyundai testing the electric Creta on public roads. Hyundai has been spotted doing this quite a bit. The planned launching date of this midsize electric SUV is early in 2025. It will go up against the recently released Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV 400, and the soon-to-be Maruti Suzuki eVX in a market that is quite competitive.

The newly designed 18-inch aero-insert wheels, a closed-off front grille, and revised front and rear bumpers are all seen in the spy photos. With a few minor modifications, the LED headlight and tail lamp assemblies are similar to those on the regular Creta. The inside of the electrified Creta closely resembles that of its ICE cousin in terms of shared technologies and feature sets.

The battery pack and other essential components will require modifications to the current Creta’s platform. In comparison to the IC-engineered Creta, the total dimensions may also be marginally larger. Updated inverted U-shaped LED tail light signatures will be seen on the back end, but new reflectors and a makeover of the bumper and skid plate will also be present.

The inside will have an integrated twin-screen design that closely resembles the most recent Creta. It will combine a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an instrument console. But the steering wheel will be uniquely finished, displaying the new emblem that Hyundai debuted in its electric vehicles overseas.

The drive mode selector on the steering column is real, as evidenced by earlier spy photos. Level 2 ADAS technology, six airbags as standard, heated seats for the driver and front passenger, automated climate control, a 360-degree video system, a panoramic sunroof, linked features, a wireless smartphone charger, and more are all included in the equipment list.

The Hyundai Creta EV is anticipated to be available with a single or twin electric motor configuration, with a stated driving range of more than 500 km. It will also be supplied in a wide range. It is currently unclear if V2L and V2V capabilities will be included, despite the fact that it will include a DC rapid charging option. Furthermore, the electric motor could come from the entry-level Kona Electric model.
