Mahindra has been aggressively testing its Born Electric line ever since revealing its all-electric car strategy in 2022. During testing, the future Mahindra XUV700 was spotted, displaying its cabin and boot area. What to expect from the new XUV700 is as follows.
Mahindra XUV700: Starting Point
The Mahindra portfolio’s flagship electric car will be the XUV700. The most recent pictures show off the cargo area of this electric coupe SUV. Because it is an SUV, the loading height of the boot is high due to the vehicle’s high ground clearance. That being said, the loading space is roomy enough to handle large suitcase bags because it is level and broad.
Cabin Features of the Mahindra XUV700
Similar to the Mahindra XUV700, the gear console and center console have a dark contrast to the light-colored upholstery and furnishings. Although the three digital displays in the interior are the main draw, the XUV700 will have front-ventilated seats. The entertainment system for the front passenger is one. The instrument cluster is the other.
According to the spy photos, a brand-new leather-wrapped gear stick with a shiny top is kept inside the center console. In addition, an electric parking brake and an entertainment system control knob are present. The new electric coupe SUV is emulating Tata Motors by sporting a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated emblem.
Design of Mahindra XUV700
The XUV700 has a sloping bonnet, a square front fascia, split headlights, and enormous LED DRLs that are joined in a L form. While the window sill receives a heavy layer of chrome, the vehicle’s charging port will be located on the side beneath the A-pillar.
While the back doors emerge into the C-pillar, the front doors have flush handles. It features an extended linked LED light at the back that reaches all the way to the rear bumper. Although Mahindra has not disclosed the specifications, a 500 km range on a single charge is anticipated with both a single and dual motor setup.
