The new BGauss RUV350 electric scooter was introduced on June 25 by the electric vehicle manufacturer. At a starting price of about ₹1.10 lakh, this electric scooter is available in three variants: i EX, EX, and Max. With their scooters, other producers of electric mobility are focusing on features, safety, range, and performance; nevertheless, the BGauss RUV350 is all about the riding experience. Nevertheless, it does provide a good number of amenities and creature comforts that the target market is likely to find appealing. BGauss D15 is replaced in the lineup by RUV350.

Bgauss RUV350: Features and Design

In terms of design, the Bgauss RUV350 is an electric scooter that breaks the mould. Its step-through design, which is practical and simple to use, is reminiscent of those that are popular in Southeast Asia. However, the Bgauss RUV350 has a bigger body and bigger wheels than conventional step-through scooters, giving it a more motorcycle-like appearance.

A rarity in the world of electric scooters, its metal body panels further enhance this unusual appearance. As opposed to the plastic body panels featured on the majority of electric scooters, metal panels not only offer a more upscale appearance and feel but also increase durability. That will, however, make it somewhat heavier than normal. However, 5 colour variations are available for all 3 types. The features of the Bgauss RUV350 are quite impressive. Depending on which variant you choose, they are different.

The RUV350 Max and RUV350 EX models are equipped with a 5-inch TFT touchscreen display that provides unambiguous information about various vehicle parameters including as speed, battery life, odometer, and journeys. Inbuilt turn-by-turn navigation is included, and user profiles enable customised settings for numerous riders.

A segmented LCD display with speed readout is included with the RUV350i EX. Safety features include roll-over detection, which turns the motor off instantly in the event of a fall, and hill hold. Additionally, it has a motor cut-off that turns on when the main stand or kickstand is used. Starting at ₹ 1.10 lakh, the Bgauss RUV350i EX is the most cheap variant, potentially undercutting well-liked choices like the Ather 450S and the Ola S1x.

When it comes to mid-range options, the Ola S1 Air (prices starting at ₹ 1.05 lakh) and the TVS iQube (prices starting at ₹ 1.15 lakh) will be directly competing with the Bgauss RUV350 EX (₹ 1.25 lakh) and RUV350 Max (₹ 1.35 lakh). The absence of brand awareness is the only issue with this. Because Bgauss isn’t as well-known in the EV market as the previously stated items, buyers should exercise caution if they wish to buy the RUV350.
