Ola electrifies MotoGP Bharat 2023 at Buddh International Circuit
As a result of a strategic collaboration between BIC and MotoGP, aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices, Ola has provided the event organizers with a fleet of their innovative S1 scooters to be utilized during the MotoGP. This unique initiative involves replacing traditional gasoline-powered motorcycles with Ola scooters for various ground support tasks, such as marshal assistance.
Anshul Khandelwal, the Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric, expressed his satisfaction in being a part of the historic MotoGP Bharat event, emphasizing the timely collaboration with BIC. Khandelwal also expressed immense joy about the overwhelming response received by Ola’s motorcycle portfolio at MotoGP Bharat.
Furthermore, he highlighted that their portfolio truly embodies the essence of motorcycle philosophy and presents a reimagined perspective in every aspect. Khandelwal reiterated Ola’s commitment to globally scaling up their indigenously developed innovations and products, which will contribute to placing India prominently on the global map for electric vehicles and motorcycles.
Ola’s range of motorcycles perfectly showcases the company’s expertise in engineering and design. It consists of four top-notch models: Diamondhead, Adventure, Cruiser, and Roadsters.
The Diamondhead motorcycle will serve as the primary model for the company. Its strong and sleek design, characterized by straight lines and striking choices, creates the impression of constant motion. The design emphasizes simplicity, form, and function, allowing riders to fully immerse themselves in the pure joy of riding. Notably, the main headlamp is discreetly positioned above the front bumper, contributing to its streamlined and aerodynamic appearance.
The Adventure bike is designed for those who seek excitement and exhilaration. With its tall and athletic build, it exudes a sense of purpose and confidence. Its unique appearance sets it apart from other adventure bikes. The Adventure is built to conquer unexplored territories while keeping the rider connected to the surroundings and creating a harmonious bond between the rider and the bike on unfamiliar roads.
The Roadster deviates from the typical motorcycle design and embraces a deconstructed aesthetic, emphasizing the importance of function over form. Additionally, the Roadster showcases dynamic and authentic styling elements around the charger cowling, contributing to its playful and agile appearance.
The Cruiser is designed with a relaxed posture and graceful contours, perfect for savoring the open road and the liberation it offers. Its mature appearance is accompanied by a touch of mystique through its refined body design. The elevated upper body seamlessly merges with the rear of the motorcycle, resulting in a striking side profile that exudes power.
Ola aims to broaden its range of bicycles in all popular categories to meet consumer needs in terms of various designs and price ranges. The motorcycles, which are currently available for pre-reservation, are scheduled to be launched by the end of 2024.
