The most costly EV in India, the Rolls-Royce Spectre, introduced for ₹7.5 Cr

On January 19, the British luxury automaker Rolls-Royce introduced the Spectre electric car to the Indian market, pricing it at Rs 7.50 crore (ex-showroom).

During the global shift to electric vehicles, the business has introduced its first all-electric vehicle, the Spectre EV. With a 102 kWh battery pack, the 2,890 kg Rolls-Royce Spectre can travel 530 km (WLTP Cycle) when fully charged. With two electric motors, one on each axle, the Spectre can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, producing 577 horsepower and 900 Nm of peak torque.

Features of the most costly Rolls-Royce Spectre EV: 

1. The Rolls-Royce Spectre EV shares its all-aluminum spaceframe design with the Phantom, Ghost, and Cullinan models.

2. The Spectre’s appearance pays homage to the Phantom Coupe with its split headlamps, which are a legendary Rolls-Royce design.

3. The vehicle has an ultra-slim LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) above the headlamps, a softly sloping roofline, and a unique shoulder line that draws inspiration from yacht design.

4.The Spectre’s interior is a picture of luxury, with fine workmanship that integrates the Starlight liner into door pads and the roof. More than 5,500 star-like illuminations can be seen on the dashboard’s backlit Spectre nameplate.

5. The Spectre has four-wheel steering, which enhances its road handling and maneuverability.

6. Rolls-Royce unveils all-new seats that improve elegance and comfort.

7. The new ‘Spirit’ software platform, a digital interface with linked car technologies, is installed on the Spectre. This platform provides customized services, such as customizable dial color options.

8. The Spectre has improved structural rigidity thanks to a 30% stiffer body.
