Audi Q8: New features and interiors

The new Q8’s cabin interiors are mostly comparable to the pre-facelift model, with the twin MMI touchscreen arrangement serving as the centerpiece. Four interior color options are available to customers: Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Gray. Better noise levels are guaranteed by the upgraded aero-acoustics in the interior. A digital instrument cluster, a new 4-zone climate control system, and multicolored ambient lighting are some of the other standout features.

Eight airbags, an electrical tailgate, a 360-degree surround view camera with Park Assist, electrically adjustable seats with heating and ventilation, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, integrated third-party music applications (Spotify, Amazon Music), massage features, etc. The Q8 has some functional upgrades and largely cosmetic changes in its most recent iteration compared to the outgoing model.

The new Q8 has a completely revised front end, with an octagonal front grille that is blacked out and has honeycomb mesh inside. Sleeker Matrix LED headlights with integrated pixelated LED DRLs and an X-shaped design flank the grille. The linked LED taillamps have been given a similar pixelated treatment, and the tailgate has a thin LED stripe running the length of it. The SUV is equipped with brand-new graphite gray R21 alloy wheels featuring a five-spoke design. The car has a fantastic, athletic contrast thanks to the red brake callipers added to the alloys. Moreover, it uses dark components including tinted windows, front and rear bumpers, and blacked-out wheels.

A 3.0-liter turbo-petrol V6 engine and a 48V mild hybrid setup power the Q8 facelift. Peak torque of 500 Nm and 335 horsepower are produced by this powerplant. An eight-speed torque converter automatic gearbox powers all four wheels through the transmission. Performance-wise, the full-size luxury SUV can reach a high speed of 250 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds.
