Tata Curvv EV anticipation period extends to two months

First customer deliveries of the Tata Curvv EV coupe-SUV are expected to start by the end of this month, according to dealers, who just launched the vehicle on the market. In our market, the Mahindra XUV400 EV and the MG ZS EV are two competitors of Tata Motors’ third electric SUV. According to dealer sources, the majority of retailers are seeing respectable foot traffic for the Tata Curvv EV, and several of the outlets we spoke with have already recorded three-digit bookings thus far. The top-spec models, which will be the ones shipped to customers first, make up the majority of the units that are now being delivered to dealers.

Tata Curvv: waiting times according to variants

There are two battery pack options available for the Curvv EV: 45kWh and 55kWh. According to dealers, customers are responding well to both options. According to dealer sources, the typical waiting duration for all 45kWh versions is eight weeks at most places, but the average waiting period for all 55kWh variants is six weeks. The most well-liked color selections are also Virtual Sunrise and Pure Grey.

Dealers inform us that buyers like the Curvv EV’s distinctive coupe SUV style and its more modern outward appearance over the Nexon EV. Both SUVs’ interiors, particularly the dashboard, are rather comparable, but one of the main attractions of the Curvv EV is its larger back passenger and cargo area compared to the Nexon. The cost of the Curvv EV ranges from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh. Its immediate rival is the MG ZS EV, which has a price range of Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 25.44 lakh.
