Maruti Suzuki was sighted testing in India for the first electric vehicle

Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to launch its first electric vehicle (EV), the eVX, onto Indian roads as it gets ready to join the country’s rapidly growing EV industry. The much anticipated eVX was reportedly spotted near Gurugram, according to a report from HT Auto, with roughly six passengers on board. This sighting provided new information about the car. The little eVX will make its debut in India early in the next year. It has already made appearances at a number of auto events, both domestically and abroad. The most recent spy images circulated on social media are said to showcase an updated alloy wheel design for the eVX.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Key Features Expected

The most recent prototype has five-spoke alloy wheels, maybe 16 inches or bigger, in contrast to the earlier test units’ 10-spoke alloy wheels. In addition, the rear door handles on the eVX are still positioned on the C-pillar, just like on the previous Swift model, unlike the handles on the original concept version.

The eVX is anticipated to have several exterior elements, such as LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlights, an LED light bar, a rear spoiler, a high-mounted stop lamp, and a shark-fin antenna. Constructed upon a novel electric skateboard framework, the eVX is anticipated to contain a battery of approximately 60 kWh, guaranteeing a maximum driving range of 550 kilometres on a solitary charge.

During a concept showcase last year, Maruti Suzuki also revealed the eVX’s interior, which featured a sleek, contemporary design with all the newest features. A large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, digital instrument panel, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, automated climate control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror are all anticipated features of the eVX. These new facts highlight Maruti Suzuki’s dedication to fusing innovation with practicality in its attempt to take a piece of the Indian electric vehicle industry as the company gets closer to releasing the eVX.
