Ignition of an electric vehicle (EV) The first batch of Raptee Energy’s electric motorcycles has been shipped from its Chennai production facility. In 2019, Raptee, an electric substitute for mid-range motorcycles, was introduced.

The company’s full-stack electric motorcycle uses high-voltage powertrain technology, which powers the passenger car industry and provides excellent performance for a two-wheeled vehicle. Once on the market, these motorbikes are compatible with CCS2 charging stations. The Raptee assembly plant at Porur, Chennai, is up and running, with a capacity of about one lakh units. Thorough testing will be performed on the first batch of motorcycles, including ARAI certification and on-road safety inspections. Additionally, the commercial debut might occur this quarter.

Since this is the technology that powers the passenger vehicle sector, Raptee asserts that it was the first Indian OEM to design and manufacture a “High Voltage Powertrain” for the two-wheeler segment. Four engineers from Chennai (formerly of Tesla and Wipro) started the business with the goal of entering the scooter market by offering a no-compromise electric motorcycle. With the use of innovative technology products and driven individuals, the company hopes to provide its clients with a first-rate experience that will make mobility safe and intelligent.
