Hyundai Creta EV spying at a charging station: upcoming release?

The regular and N Line versions of the new Hyundai Creta are currently available. The carmaker is currently working on introducing the model to the Indian market in an electrified form. The Creta EV will have nearly the exact same design as the conventional model, as seen in the image. The primary distinction will be a new set of alloy wheels with an aerodynamic design and a charging port installed on the front bumper. Apart from that, the electric Hyundai Creta will have ‘EV’ components such as a connected LED DRL and taillamp, a redesigned front and rear bumper, a blanked-off grille, and lowered ground clearance because of the floor-mounted battery pack.

Hyundai Creta EV: Design & Interiors

There’s hardly much to see because the SUV is fully covered. Having said that, the EV version will resemble the standard Creta in appearance by utilising the design cues from the Creta facelift. But the SUV will have a closed-off grille and unique alloy wheels for the electric variant. Regarding equipment and features, the Creta EV will maintain the same high level of feature richness as its ICE sibling. A twin-display configuration, updated centre console, wireless smartphone connectivity, reupholstered seats, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS suite are probably among the many features that it will include.

The leatherette upholstery on the seats appears to have the same colour scheme as the standard model. But if we look attentively, we can see that the stitching on the seats is blue, whereas on the gasoline/diesel Creta, it is red. The interior will probably be the same as the ICE model, just like the outside. It is most likely going to have a twin-display dashboard.

It is anticipated that the feature list would mirror the one from the Creta makeover. But since A Hyundai Creta EV was observed at a charging station vehicles are electric, they might include EV-specific features like V2L. Expect additional blue treatments inside now that the seats have been observed to have blue stitches.
