The Seal Electric Sedan from BYD can travel up to 650 kilometers with a single charge

The new Seal electric sedan from BYD Auto India has expanded the company’s lineup of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. The Seal is offered in three different variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Performance. The ex-showroom pricing range for the Seal is between Rs 41.00 lakh and Rs 53.00 lakh.

Based on the same chassis as the BYD Atto 3 SUV, the Seal has a low-slung, elegant look for a four-door coupe. It has a sleek and roomy ride with measurements of 4,800 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height, and a 2,920 mm wheelbase.

BYD Seal Features and Interior

The BYD Seal has a tonne of standard features. Nine airbags, traction control, ADS, powered driver and co-driver seats, heated and ventilated seats, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster are some of these features. To accommodate differing requirements, The Seal provides two battery alternatives. With a 61.44 kWh battery pack, the standard range model can travel up to 510 kilometres. A larger 82.56 kWh battery powers the more potent version and AWD variants, providing up to 650 km of range for the RWD model and 580 km for the AWD model (NEDC numbers).

Higher versions come with extra features such a torque vectoring system, memory functions for the driver seat and door mirrors, a heads-up display, and faster charging support. Many Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are installed on the Seal, enhancing both convenience and safety. These consist of adaptive cruise control, lane maintain assist, cross-traffic alert, emergency braking, blind spot assistance, lane departure warning and prevention, and collision warning system.
