Tata Punch EV
TATA has unveiled its initial product on the Acti.EV platform. The all-electric Punch EV has a redesigned front end to better complement the Nexon’s design. Updated tail lights and alloy wheels with an aerodynamic appearance are two more exterior changes. A two-spoke steering wheel, a redesigned dashboard, and a new touch-enabled climate control panel are among the interior modifications. It is equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Electronic stability control and an automated parking brake are examples of safety technology.
Citroen C3X EV
The next C3X crossover car will be available in an electric variant that features unique styling to distinguish it apart from the base model. Even at the front, there will be EV-specific modifications to its coupe-like roofline. Additionally, it is anticipated to share a platform with the C3X and C3 Aircross SUVs. There aren’t many specifications yet, but it should have a stronger electric engine and a bigger battery pack—roughly 44 kWh. Expect the same array of safety features as the standard C3X, such as a computerised driver’s display, up to six airbags, a reversing camera, and a 10.2-inch touchscreen.
Tata Curvv EV
The Indian automaker unveils a new vehicle called the TATA CURVV EV. Its design language will be akin to that of Tata’s current electric SUVs, the Punch EV , which feature connected LED tail lights, a triangle headlamp housing, and a long LED DRL strip up front. The twin digital infotainment and driver’s display screens in its cabin may add to its minimalistic appeal.
This electric small SUV is anticipated to have many of the same features as its Tata brothers, such as touch-based climate control, an expansive touchscreen infotainment system (which may be 12.3 inches), and advanced driver assistance systems. Multiple battery packs, including 30 kWh and 40.5 kWh, are probably going to be available for the Curvv EV.
Mahindra XUV.e8
The much anticipated all-electric Mahindra mid-sized SUV, the XUV700, is about to make its debut as the XUV.e8. It is anticipated that consumers will have the option of two different battery pack configurations, with a capacity ranging from 60 to 80 kWh, as well as a dual-motor all-wheel drivetrain (AWD). The first vehicle in Mahindra’s new electric vehicle lineup, the XUV.e8, will be constructed on the specially designed INGLO platform.
Its outward design will resemble that of the standard XUV700, but because it is an electric vehicle, the grille will be closed off. Except a third screen for the front passenger, the interior of the cabin should mostly stay the same. XUV.e8 will therefore feature an integrated screen setup that fills the dashboard’s width.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
MARUTI is planning to launch eVX, its first electric car, by the end of 2024. This electric SUV’s test mules have been spotted a few times, suggesting it’s almost ready for production. The powerful wheel arches, linked LED taillights, and svelte headlights with LED DRLs are some of the design features. The Maruti EV’s interior will be minimalistic, with the integrated screens taking the stage. The electric small SUV is anticipated to come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, auto climate control, a 360-degree camera, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. Six airbags, ESC, and a few cutting-edge driver assistance systems like blind spot monitoring and automated emergency braking are probably going to be standard equipment on Maruti vehicles.Â
