Mahindra XUV400 Pro Launch Price in 2024: Rs 15.49 Lakh

The EC Pro and EL Pro trim levels are the new offerings for the Mahindra XUV400. Previously, the XUV400 lacked the modernity of the Tata Nexon EV, but with all of the new technology and modifications, it is now far more advanced than its predecessor.

The Mahindra XUV400 is identical to the previous model and has no exterior design improvements. In addition to a reverse camera with guidance, fog lamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a rear defogger, the top specification also includes 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, electrically operated and adjustable ORVMs, and a reverse camera. All trim levels come standard with satin copper highlights, LED tail lamps, follow-me-home headlights, and a rear spoiler.

Interior of the Mahindra XUV400

The Mahindra XUV400’s interior has undergone significant updating to bring it up to par with other EVs in this class. The instrument cluster and infotainment system’s two 10.25-inch screens are the first visual updates in the vehicle. Along with Mahindra‘s Adrenox-connected car technologies, it also receives wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All trims come equipped with TPMS, three driving modes—fun, fast, and furious—L-mode (single pedal driving), and rear AC vents.

A wireless charger featuring active cooling, MLOA (mobile left-over alert), and FOD (foreign object detect) indication is included with the top trim. Along with these features, the EL Pro also has a sunroof, six airbags, an auto-dimming IRVM, leatherette seats, a leather steering wheel, and cruise control placed on the steering wheel.

Mahindra XUV400 battery and engine

34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh are the two battery options available for the Mahindra XUV400. While the EL Pro can be ordered with any of the two battery packs, the EC Pro can only be ordered with the smaller 34.5 kWh battery. With the same motor producing 147.5 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, the 39.4 kWh battery is said to have a range of 456 km, while the 34.5 kWh battery has a claimed range of 375 km. With a top speed of 150 kmph, it accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds.

Mahindra XUV400 cost and competitors

The standard variant of the Mahindra XUV 400 costs Rs 15.49 lakh, while the trim costs Rs 17.49 lakh. The Tata Nexon EV, which retails for Rs 19.94 (ex-showroom) lakh for the top trim, is its direct competitor. The MG ZS EV, which costs Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom) and has a somewhat higher premium, is the other rival.

The Mahindra XUV400 MY24 is a strong competitor for the Tata Nexon EV because to its updated technology and modernized cabin, which set it apart from the earlier model.
