Mercedes-Benz will exhibit the Concept CLA, the G-Class EV, and an AI-powered helper at CES in 2024

At the 2024 CES in Las Vegas in January, Mercedes-Benz will unveil a number of digital improvements. One of these is the MBUX Virtual Assistant, which the company claims employs artificial intelligence (AI) to give a more human-like interface with the car. Mercedes will introduce the Concept CLA, an electric four-door coupe-style sedan with a range of over 750 km (466 miles), to the North American market at the same time.

The concept car will offer a sneak peek at the upcoming Mercedes entry-level lineup, which will include fully electric models. In an effort to concentrate more on higher-margin sales, the manufacturer is reducing the number of model lines it offers for its tiny A- and B-Class vehicles from seven to four.

Mercedes-Benz claims that by utilising Unity Technologies’ high-resolution game-engine graphics, the Virtual Assistant “takes the Hey Mercedes” voice assistant “into a whole new visual dimension.”

Mercedes-Benz and San Francisco-based Unity are working together to enable the infotainment section of the new MB.OS operating system. Next year should see the release of the first vehicles using Unity and MB.OS systems.

Mercedes claimed that in addition to revealing the operating system and CLA, it will also unveil cooperation in the in-car entertainment space and display a disguised version of the fully electric G-Class SUV.
