Kinetic Green Zulu electric scooter unveiled in India

With a sleek new look and a potent electric motor, Kinetic Green has recently unveiled the brand-new Zulu electric scooter in India. There are two battery configurations available for the scooter: one has an oil-cooled arrangement and the other uses a normal battery pack. These models have starting costs of Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and Rs 94,990, respectively.

It’s interesting to note that Kinetic Green is highlighting its dedication to domestic manufacturing by saying that the Zulu electric scooter is made entirely in India. In a creative move, the company has also decided to sell the scooter with a Rs 69,999 battery subscription plan.

Features of the Kinetic Green Zulu E-scooter

The stylish LED headlight of the Kinetic Green Zulu E-Scooter is fixed to the apron, and the handlebar stalk houses the Daytime Running Light (DRL) for easy access. Its sleek body panels, level floorboard, and striking decals surrounding the headlamp and seat region are some of its design elements. The alloy wheels elevate the design and give it a more polished, family-friendly look with a dash of sportiness.

Available in six eye-catching colour combinations- Orange, Red, Grey, Blue, White, and Black. The Zulu provides a range of options to accommodate personal tastes. Functionality-wise, the Zulu has an easy-to-read digital speedometer. Its practical features, which offer convenience and safety, like a side stand sensor and under-seat storage with a convenient boot light, improve its user-friendly design.

A hub electric motor with a peak power of 2.8 horsepower and a 2.27 kWh lithium-ion battery power the Zulu electric scooter. This system has an amazing IP67 rating for both the battery and the motor. It easily plugs into a 15 amp outlet meant for incredibly quick charging when it comes to charging. Its capacity to charge from empty to eighty percent in thirty minutes is quite amazing.

The Zulu has a maximum speed of 60 kmph and can travel about 104 km on a single charge, according to the manufacturer. Depending on how far you go each month, the Kinetic Green Zulu’s battery subscription fee can change.

The Kinetic Green Zulu’s mechanical components include twin shocks at the back and telescopic forks up front for a comfortable ride. Disc brakes are used on both ends of the braking system to provide adequate stopping power. In the future, the business intends to provide an oil-cooled battery alternative that will reportedly have an even greater range and require less time to charge. But the price of this improved model is anticipated to be up to 15% more than that of the existing model.

Let’s examine the Kinetic Green Zulu’s specifications. It has dimensions of 1,830 mm by 715 mm by 1,135 mm. It’s a small, manoeuvrable electric scooter with a 1,360 mm wheelbase and 160 mm of ground clearance. The scooter itself has a weight of 93 kg and can support a maximum load of 150 kg.

With a look at its rivals, the Kinetic Green Zulu is getting ready to take on devices such as the Ola S1X+ and Okinawa PraisePro. You’ll be happy to hear that sales of this electric scooter are scheduled to begin in early 2024 if you have your eye on one.
