With its Sierra SUV concept, Tata Motors reignited the passion of Indian SUV enthusiasts back in January of this year at the Auto Expo. Eleven months later, pictures of the company’s submitted patents for this future SUV have surfaced online. A few accurate renditions of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV have been produced using these new patent photos. These pictures demonstrate the new Tata Sierra EV’s aggressive and powerful appearance.

Tata Sierra EV Visual Aids
Motorbeam is the source of these computer-generated pictures of the new Tata Sierra EV. As previously stated, the official patent photos that were just leaked were used to construct these representations. Therefore, it is quite probable that the production model of the Sierra EV will resemble this projected image. Starting with the modelled Sierra EV’s design elements, we can see that this SUV will have a striking presence on the road thanks to its stylish yet aggressive styling.
Exterior Design Specifications: Front
Regarding the front-end design, the new Tata Sierra will take great delight in its incredibly modern front. The thick, connected daytime running LED that runs the length of its front fascia will be its prominent feature. Additionally, the car will have a distinctly muscular bonnet featuring two eye-catching lines that run the length of the front bumper.
About the front bumper, the split LED headlights—which will be arranged in a split headlamp configuration—will reside there. The simulated image also shows a large silver skid plate with tiny LED lights.
View from the Side
Let’s talk about the new Tata Sierra EV’s muscular side profile. It has a big, boxy design that is very imposing. Trapezoidal-shaped wheel arches with thick matte black claddings will be housed within the front and rear fenders. The new Y-shaped gunmetal grey alloy wheels, which resemble the top-spec Safari facelift in terms of diameter, are one of the main attractions of the side profile.
Thick black side claddings will also be added to the car’s lower front and rear door sections. The SUV is also seen in the rendered image with relatively tiny ORVMs and flush-style door handles. When paired with its enormous height, the Sierra EV‘s large window section will create an airy feeling inside the cabin. The SUV will have a black section on its D-pillar to give the impression that it has a floating roof. Although this SUV’s rear-end design is still unfinished, it will probably stick to the same futuristic aesthetic.
Tata Sierra EV: Additional Information
As of right now, the production-spec model’s interior has not been revealed online. On the other hand, the business unveiled a concept automobile with an interior that looked futuristic back in January. The concept SUV included a flat-bottom steering wheel, a large digital instrument gauge cluster, a touchscreen infotainment screen, and the lighted Tata logo. The Sierra EV will probably receive identical equipment to the Tata Safari facelift; details will be revealed in the upcoming months.
Engine Specifications
Tata Motors has not yet released any official powertrain specifications. But the Sierra SUV will first be available exclusively as an electric vehicle. However, the business will eventually sell ICE versions of this SUV, which will come with the recently unveiled 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the new company.
