The Nexon, Nexon.ev, Harrier, and Safari are just a few of the latest SUVs from Tata Motors and Amazon that include Alexa Built-In. The most recent upgrade enables drivers to handle several features with voice commands while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

The owners of Tata SUVs may now use Alexa to change the interior temperature, adjust the airflow settings, change the screen brightness, and open or cover the sunroof, among other things, by speaking to Alexa in English, Hindi, or Hinglish. To improve manoeuvrability, safety, and the overall driving experience, Tata automobile owners may also use Alexa to operate the 360-degree surround view camera in their vehicles.

Owners of automobiles can ask Alexa to play their preferred music, navigate routes, manage to-do lists and audiobooks, hear the most recent news, set reminders, and make and receive phone calls, among other things, according to Tata Motors.

What is Amazon India saying about this initiative of Tata Motors?

“AI is already present in many aspects of our lives, and this will only increase. According to Dilip R S, Director and Country Manager for Alexa at Amazon India, “With Alexa AI, we have unlocked the power of voice interactions to integrate into our customers’ daily lives seamlessly.

“This partnership with Tata Motors will enable customers to keep experiencing much of what they are familiar with about Alexa from their home, in their Tata Motors vehicles, with new features for car controls and navigation,” he stated.

Sven Patuschka, VP and CTO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility stated that although safety is still paramount, our customers and users are increasingly demanding connected tech features. “With this debut, our intent has been clearly towards making our client’s drive experience easier and an extension of their homes,” he said.
