Hero Electric debuts its A2B brand in the market for high-end EV bikes

Hero Electric has made plans to develop distinctive brands for several market segments. According to that strategic objective, the business stated that it will use the A2B brand to join the premium e-bike market in India.

According to Sohinder Gill, CEO of Hero Electric, “While the Hero Electric brand continues to be the cornerstone of our basic E-mobility thrust, we intend to invest in new brands for specific market categories.”

According to Mr. Gill, who was describing the brand diversification strategy, “We believe that differentiation is key to market dominance, and going forward we will enter categories under specialist brand entities to bring focus to the market segments they represent, complementing the Hero brand as a legacy player in the mass mobility segment.”

Hero Electric’s marketing strategy

Hero Electric has begun to consider capturing newer niches as a result of its understanding of the market. The market for electric two-wheelers may see difficulties in the near future, but given the growing emphasis on sustainability and the shift to cleaner transportation, it has tremendous growth potential in the medium and long term.

Sohinder Gill commented on the situation by saying, “The Indian market is ready for e-mobility exploration, and we are in a great position to address the growing demands, particularly those from the premium category. We are excited to play a crucial part in helping India realise its goal of being a hub for EVs since our devotion to that cause resonates with that goal.

A variety of high-end electric bikes, scooters, and other new models in the category will be debuted under the A2B brand. A2B will incorporate innovative technologies, powerful battery systems, perfectly integrated powertrains, and aesthetics that appeal to the tastes of buyers in the premium market, building on Hero Electric’s already-strong reputation.

Hero Electric’s MD, Naveen Munjal, commented on the launch by saying, “We are launching a de-aggregation strategy with particular brand offerings in several areas. This strategic change intends to concentrate on our existing market with the Hero Electric brand while enabling us to enter other categories as competition in this industry grows.
