Tata Motors launches Tata.ev as their new electric car brand identity

The Tata Motors subsidiary that has been in charge of the EV business, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, has changed its name to Tata.ev. The brand’s logo features the names Tata and EV, with a circle and a dot surrounding the EV. The Tiago EV, which has the.ev badge on its bodywork introduced this. The company’s line of commercial electric vehicles will not be included in the Tata.ev brand; only the passenger electric vehicles will.

Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Sales, and Service Strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., commented on the new brand identity, saying, “We are entering a new era with Tata.ev. Our dedication to accelerating the adoption of clean energy mobility solutions is highlighted by our new brand identity for electric vehicles. With an emphasis on sustainability, community, and technology, we want to stimulate positive change in the automobile sector. The goal of both the goods and the services is to give consumers engaging and highly distinctive experiences. The brand has a humanistic, sincere, energising, and conversational attitude that serves as a rallying point for people who are interested in making a positive difference in the world.

Together with Landor & Fitch, a global brand transformation firm, a new brand identity was created. The new brand motto, “Move with Meaning,” which emphasises sustainability at the centre of Tata.ev company, has been launched together with the new brand name. The new logo is created with an orbit around the dot ev. This is an example of how Tata.ev strives to create an ecosystem where people and the environment interact in a circular manner for a better future. Additionally, branding components will make use of the Evo Teal colour.

The print collateral for the new logo is based on a white background to lessen its environmental impact and save ink. The digital collaterals have an all-black basis, which means that less battery and energy will be used by digital displays. Tata has a market share of more than 70% in India’s market for passenger electric vehicles, making it the undisputed leader in this sector. The company has passed the amazing 1 lakh EV milestone.
