Nexon EV Facelift

Favourite in the sub-4 metre SUV market, the Nexon EV is going to get a much-needed redesign. A recent sighting of test mules for the 2024 Nexon EV makeover has enthusiasts buzzing. The absence of exhaust and the obvious appearance of the battery pack hidden beneath the vehicle’s floor helped to identify the EV variant.

The test mule’s rear end displayed a revised LED tail lamp design, following in the footsteps of its ICE cousin. The Nexon EV Facelift is ready to provide a better and cleaner driving experience thanks to its battery-powered core. It is anticipated to have a similar exterior to the ICE variant and an improved interior with a 10-inch infotainment system, a redesigned steering wheel, and paddle shifters for regenerative braking.

A split headlamp design with a full-width LED bar and an enclosed grille stand out in the Harrier EV’s design. Although exact battery and powertrain information has not yet been made public, experts predict that a 60 kWh battery pack will provide a real-world range of 400–500 km. This new EV SUV will be distinguished by its availability of vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, which are currently not offered by any other EV SUV in the nation.
