Ola S1X and S1X+ electric scooters were introduced to the Indian market today with an initial base price of Rs 79,999 and Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). The electric vehicle manufacturer claimed these special discounts are available through August 21, 2023. Starting now, interested clients can reserve an Ola S1X or S1X+ through the official website. The Ola S1X and S1X+ will start to be delivered in December.

According to Aggarwal, the S1X and S1X+ differ in terms of connection and software functionality. With a single charge, the S1X can travel 151 kilometres and accelerate to a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour. He highlighted the financial benefits of owning an electric scooter as opposed to an ICE counterpart, saying that “these scooters collectively represent the end of ICE age scooters.”

Aggarwal made the following comment in a press release: “We are working quickly and with a clear vision to promote the nation’s leadership in electrification. We will guarantee complete price parity between ICE and EV vehicles by developing fundamental technologies in-house and utilising economies of scale, localised supply networks, and manufacturing engineering.
