Tata Nexon EV catches fire in yet another incident

In Secunderabad, Telangana, another Tata Nexon EV catches fire following a collision. This is Tata Nexon EV catching fire. The event occurred after the car collided with a tree during an accident. All of the passengers in the car were unharmed when they exited the vehicle.

The video, which was shared online without explanation, shows flames shooting from the Tata Nexon EV’s hood. It most likely started the fire when it collided with a tree. It also appears like the automobile lost control and smashed into the tree. Another theory is that the car wrecked shortly after the fire began.

This is not the first time that electric vehicles have been engaged in fatal fires. Several electric vehicles, particularly electric scooters, have recently caught fire due to factors such as short circuits and overcharging. We noticed multiple cases of electric scooters catching fire in 2022.

A Tata Nexon EV parked outside a restaurant in Mumbai caught fire in June 2022, with the fire starting from underneath the car. It was assumed that the battery in the SUV had been damaged, which caused the fire. Tata Motors issued an official statement in response to the incident, promising to undertake a thorough investigation. The corporation also informed the public that its products are thoroughly tested.

Despite the event, the Tata Nexon EV continues to be India’s best-selling electric vehicle. The fire could have been caused by a number of circumstances, including short-circuiting, problems with the battery management system, or overcharging. Similar incidents with electric scooters from various brands have been reported in the past.
