Citroen C3 Aircross to be launched in India during H2 2023

The Citroen C3 Aircross has been unveiled by Citroen for the Indian market. With the introduction of the brand-new C3 Aircross, a rare pure B-SUV that provides real value in 5-seat and 7-seat packages, the automaker is accelerating its international growth strategy. The brand-new Citroen C3 Aircross will go on sale in Indonesia, Citroen’s newest market, later in 2024, as well as in South America and India later in 2023.

According to the company, the midsize SUV is designed and made locally at the Thiruvallur plant in Tamil Nadu, with over 90% localization. Additionally, the business announced that it would introduce the third model on the C3 platform. The All-New Citroen C3 Aircross is a 4.32 m long family B-SUV with a striking, tough exterior. It has a commanding front face with a high bonnet, wide track width, signature Citroen Y-shaped lighting, and strong double grille with lower skid plate to handle varying road conditions and maximise cooling.

With one of the best 200mm of ground clearance, strong wheel arches holding big wheels and tyres, and tough protective claddings, it stands out from a distance. The wide C-pillar gives the body more verticality and strength, and the tidy rear quarter windows give the passengers a sense of light and space. The feeling of height, light, and visibility is enhanced by windows and the long rear doors, which also make it simple to access the third row of seats.

The All-New Citroen C3 Aircross C3 Aircross has a lot of space and while the 7-seater model adds intelligent modularity for multiple uses with a third row of two individual seats, the 5-seater model provides some of the best knee room for rear seat passengers and up to 482 litres of luggage volume.

When the family needs to balance the space for passengers with up to 511-litres capacity for luggage or materials, these can be folded down or removed individually. The interior, which is well-lit, roomy, and smartphone-friendly, embodies Citroen’s well-known 360-degree approach to comfort and occupant well-being. The horizontal instrument panel is eye-catching and layered, and its centre is divided by a special soft-touch grain. An optional 10-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch TFT cluster are standard on higher versions of the New Citroen C3 Aircross.

Everyone will be kept comfortable thanks to the incredibly plush seats and strong climate and air-conditioning system, especially in the second and third rows of the 7-seater version because of an innovative ventilation module mounted into the roof panel. Up to five USB plugs and cup holders that double as smartphone holders are among the thoughtful storage solutions used throughout the cabin so that passengers can power their connectivity while travelling and stay in touch or entertained.
