Tata Nexon EV MAX 2023 Dark Edition launched in India

For the 2023 model year, Tata Motors has updated its Tata Nexon EV MAX and debuted the electric SUV in a new #Dark Edition design. The 10.25-inch HARMAN screen on this new special edition model, which features improved software and a more user-friendly UI, is the main draw. For the time being, this new feature will only be offered on the #Dark Edition model, which is currently only available on the top two trims, the XZ+ Lux and XZ+ Lux with the 7.2kW charger.

The 10.25-inch infotainment screen from Harman makes its debut in the 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition lineup.

The new unit puts it on par with its competitors and represents a significant improvement over the previous infotainment unit. According to reports, the system is responsive and provides wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The unit will also accept commands in Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Bengali.

Sunroof, air purifier with AQI display, cruise control, wireless phone charger, cooled glove box, rear air conditioning vents, electronic gear selector with display, alloy wheels, four disc brakes, etc. are still included in the 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition.

The Tata Nexon EV MAX uses an electric motor with a maximum output of 250Nm and 143hp. With a 40.5 kWh battery pack, this is said to have a 453 km range. Along with regenerative braking, the EV has three driving modes: City, Eco, and Sport. With a 3.3kW or optional 7.2kW charger, the Tata Nexon EV MAX can be fully charged from empty to 100% in about 15 hours and 6.5 hours, respectively.

Priced at Rs 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2023 Tata Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition has been introduced in India. Due to the new touchscreen’s inclusion, this costs about Rs 55,000 more than the standard model. The Midnight Black paint colour of the Nexon EV MAX Dark Edition is accented with Satin Grey and Blue paint. The battery pack will be covered for 8 years or 1,60,000 miles, and the vehicle itself will be covered for 3 years or 1,25,000 miles.
