On the same day as World EV Day, the electric vehicle division of Mahindra & Mahindra, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), revealed the moniker of their future commercial electric four-wheeler, the “e-ZEO,” on September 9. The vehicle’s environmental benefits are highlighted by the ‘e-ZEO,’ or “Zero Emission Option,” according to a news statement from the firm. The company stated that the “e-ZEO” has a high-voltage architecture that offers improved energy efficiency, a longer driving range, and faster charging times, while also offering a cost-effective solution for businesses. It was created to challenge the dominance of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles in the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) sector.
In response to the launch, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility’s Managing Director and CEO, Suman Mishra, said, “It gives us immense pleasure to reveal the brand name of our four-wheeler, ‘e-ZEO,’ on World EV Day. We have led the charge in the last mile electric three-wheeler vehicle space.” This name is a perfect fit for our mission and supports international initiatives to hasten the adoption of electric vehicles, especially those under two tons. The “e-ZEO,” supported by the Mahindra brand, is ready to transform urban logistics and promote wealth for our clients.”
