Tata Motors presents Smart, Sustainable, and Safe Mass Transit Solutions at Prawaas 4.0 

Tata Motors, the country’s top producer of commercial vehicles, unveiled the Ultra EV 7M, an innovative 21-seater electric bus at the Prawaas 4.0 sustainable mobility expo in Bengaluru,. Tata Motors’ dedication to transforming urban mass transit with effective and sustainable solutions was made clear by this unveiling. The Ultra EV 7M boasts an impressive stated range of up to 160 km on a single charge thanks to its powerful 213kW electric motor and IP67-rated 200kWh Li-ion battery. The bus also has quick charging capabilities, allowing for a complete charge in under 2.5 hours.

The Ultra EV 7M is positioned as a viable sustainable urban transportation option by these qualities. Tata Motors designed the Ultra EV 7M with efficiency and safety as top priorities. The bus is equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies like an Intelligent Transport System (ITS), automatic passenger counting, electronic stability control, and electronic braking. Regenerative braking technology is also included, which increases the bus’s economy even more and guarantees that it will become the industry standard for urban electric buses.

The Ultra EV 7M reflects the company’s dedication to safe, intelligent, and sustainable mass mobility as it is specifically designed to satisfy the unique demands of both metro and smaller cities.In India, Tata dominates the electric bus market with more than 2,900 e-buses that have traveled more than 16 crore kilometers in total.

The company is demonstrating its all-encompassing approach to clean and sustainable transportation by developing hydrogen fuel cell transport options in addition to electric buses. The business showcased several passenger transport options at Prawaas 4.0, including the Magna EV, Magic Bi-fuel, Ultra Prime CNG, Winger 9S, and CityRide Prime, in addition to the Ultra EV 7M.
