MG Cloud EV been revealed with a panoramic sunroof confirmed

The MG Cloud EV, which will join ZS EV and Comet EV in the portfolio, will be the brand’s newest electric vehicle available in India. The crossover utility vehicle will be a strong competitor in the Indian electric car market whenever it is released. With the release of the test mule spy photos online, MG Cloud EV has been in the news lately.

To further encourage this, there were rumours that the electric CUV might be on display at the Indonesian GIIAS in 2024. Before the actual launch ceremony, MG Motor India unveiled a fresh teaser for the Cloud EV in an effort to capitalise on the attention-grabbing publicity. There’s a good chance the car’s price will be disclosed by the brand during the holiday season this year.

MG Cloud New Features

The recently unveiled teaser confirms that the electric car would have streamlined LED headlights with a bar of LEDs running the length of the hood. Located directly above the grille, the light bar gives the CUV a contemporary appearance. In addition, the vehicle has an illuminated MG emblem to complete the look. The brief movie also suggests that the car’s Indian version will have a sunroof and makes a suggestion about the style of the alloy wheels.

The car with the crossover design is a hybrid of a hatchback and an MPV, according to information that was previously available. It will have a simple exterior with flat door knobs and little to no ornamentation. Simultaneously, the test mules of the vehicle that were previously sighted provided an inside look at the cabin.

The car may sport a totally digital instrument cluster and a floating touchscreen infotainment system based on the images and videos. This resembles the version with the Wuling insignia that was on show in Indonesia.
An additional feature of the cockpit is a two-spoke steering wheel with controls positioned on it.
The electric CUV may be equipped with a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, front seats that can recline, and other amenities. However, after the EV is formally introduced, all of the information will be verified.

The battery specs for the India model are currently unknown. Nonetheless, there are two battery options available for the Cloud in international markets. A 50.6kWh battery with a maximum range of 460 km is the second option, while a 37.9kWh battery with a 360 km range is the first. A 134 horsepower front axle-mounted electric motorcycle is powered by the battery in both situations.
