Mahindra made the amazing Mr. Bujji

If you’re an avid admirer of science fiction, particularly Star Trek and Star Wars, Bujji’s gigantic design will make you feel right at home. With three enormous tires—two in the front and one spherical at the back—and an all-glass dome, the car has a road presence that is unrivalled in Indian cinema history.

Bujji’s massive biceps, the two 34.5-inch tyres up front that are manufactured by Ceat, and the alloy wheels that are specifically imported from abroad all serve to highlight the tremendous stature of the vehicle.

The rear-wheel-drive monster’s two electric motors provide an incredible 9,800 Nm of torque in addition to 126 bhp (94 kW) of total power output. That number is truly astounding; there isn’t an error in it. A 47 kWh battery pack with battery switching technology powers Bujji.

Bujji’s dimensions are said to be 2,186 mm in height, 3,380 mm in breadth, and 6,075 mm in length. As a result, the electric sci-fi car is more than 500 mm longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class limousine, about twice as wide as two Toyota Fortuners, and significantly taller than a Toyota Land Cruiser.

The director of Kalki 2898 AD, Nag Ashwin, thanked Mahindra and Jayem Automotives for being essential in making Bujji a reality. The construction of this fearsome machine was made possible by the joint efforts of Jayem and Mahindra Research Valley experts. As such, Mahindra provides the two electric motors that drive Bujji.
