This groundbreaking innovation marks a significant advancement in EV charging times, dramatically reducing them from the current 60- to 120-minute range.

The proprietary battery technology by Clean Electric leverages universal CCS 2 DC charging standards, ensuring compatibility across various EV models and form factors, setting a new industry standard. These fireproof batteries have undergone rigorous testing, demonstrating exceptional performance with only 11% degradation in the overall range after 3700 rapid charge cycles. Manufactured at their state-of-the-art facility in Pune, Clean Electric has the capacity to produce up to 1200 battery packs per month.

Industry-leading Innovations and Partnerships

The development of this groundbreaking technology by Clean Electric spans four years and is supported by four granted patents in both domestic and US markets. The innovative battery architecture incorporates several industry-first technologies, such as direct contact liquid cooling (DCLC), self-contained adaptive active liquid cooling (SCALC), and DCLC with Integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) battery architecture. These advancements ensure intrinsically safe batteries, mitigate thermal runaway risks and enable rapid charging with higher packaging efficiency to enhance EV range without compromising durability.

Clean Electric is actively collaborating with reputable EV OEMs across various segments, including e-cars, e-2W, e-3W, and e-LCV, to address critical challenges in the industry. These challenges include concerns about EVs catching fire, extended charging times, and limited driving ranges of current EV models.

Clean Electric recently showcased a live demonstration in Pune, featuring a 2.2 kWh e-2W battery and a 12.5 kWh e-3W battery charging from 0-80% State of Charge (SOC) in just 10 minutes using BIS-approved Type 6, Bharat DC-001, and globally accepted CCS 2 DC Public Charger. This achievement solidifies Clean Electric’s position as the producer of the world’s fastest-charging electric vehicle.

Founded in 2020 by Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy, and Ankit Joshi, Clean Electric specializes in advanced energy storage solutions for EVs and grid applications.
