New TVS iQube Variants for 2024 Released

A new entry-level model of the iQube electric scooter has been introduced by TVS in the nation. The new TVS iQube base variant costs Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom) and has a smaller 2.2 kWh battery capacity. Another significant development is that TVS claims to have started shipping the iQube’s top-spec ST model at last.

Additionally, there are now two battery pack options for the ST variant: 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh. With three different power pack options, the iQube line is currently offered in five different configurations and can be purchased in 434 Indian cities as of right now.

TVS iQube base version: Features & specifications

A 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor that produces 140 Nm of torque and is powered by a 2.2 kWh battery powers the new base model of TVS iQube. With Eco mode, the battery can cover 75 km on a single charge, while with Power mode, it can cover 60 km. The battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in two hours with a fast charger. There are two color schemes for this variant: Pearl White and Walnut Brown.

With an introductory price of Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) that includes a refund and EMPS subsidy, it is available until June 30, 2024. Features-wise, the base model of TVS iQube has a 5-inch color TFT screen, a 950W charger, turn-by-turn navigation, distance to an empty, car crash and tow alert, and 30-litre under-seat storage.

TVS iQube ST: Features and specs

The 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh battery options for the TVS iQube ST are priced at Rs 1.55 lakh and Rs 1.85 lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The 5.1 kWh model has a range of 150 km on a single charge and a top speed of 82 kmph, while the 3.4 kWh model has a range of 100 km and a top speed of 78 kmph.

Customers can purchase either the 5.1 kWh or 3.4 kWh TVS ST variant with an introductory loyalty incentive of Rs. 10,000 if they pre-booked the ST variant before July 15, 2022. The battery pack is the only difference between the ST versions and the other features. These consist of a tyre pressure monitoring system, digital document storage, voice assistance through Alexa, a 7-inch full-color TFT touchscreen, and over 118 connected features.

The Hosur-based company offers the ST variation in four different color options: Starlight Blue, Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, and Titanium Gray Matte. TVS asserts that over 3 lakh iQube units have been sold so far.
