India’s BluSmart EV fleet exceeds 7,000 units

Blusmart now operates the largest fleet in Southeast Asia and includes the Tata Tigor EV, MG ZS EV and BYD E6, all of which are used in the megacities of Bangalore and Delhi NCR. BluSmart is establishing a mobility, infrastructure, and energy integrated business with its in-house born-electric technology stack. Since its founding, the company has performed over 12.5 million all-electric journeys, logged 410 million clean km, and saved 30 million kg of CO2. In addition, BluSmart owns and runs more than 4,400 Electric Vehicles chargers throughout its 36 Electric Vehicles Charging superhubs, which are dispersed over 1.5 million square feet in the highly populated megacities of Bangalore and Delhi NCR.

Journey of BluSmart EV Fleet

BluSmart has delivered 12.5 million all-electric journeys to far, with its Electric Vehicles fleet traveling 410 million kilometers. Since its launch, it has avoided around 30 million kilograms of CO2 emissions. The CEO and co-founder of BluSmart Fleet, Anirudh Arun, expressed his joy about the achievement and emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting the growing need for efficient and environmentally friendly transportation while offering riders outstanding service.

BluSmart just attained a earnings run rate of more than $55 million annually. Its growth year over year is greater than 100%. The business obtained $200 million in growth funding by combining loan and equity earlier this year. To ensure sustained growth and expansion, investments came from renowned Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) and responsability Investments AG.
