The new Comet EV gaming model has been introduced by MG Motor India in the nation. Additionally, it is introducing a large type of electric vehicle. In order to create the new MG Comet gamer model, top gamers Naman Mathur and Mortal, also known as Mortal in India, worked together.
With an ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.65 lahks, the MG Comet Gamer is a reasonably priced electric vehicle. However, it costs roughly Rs 64,999 more than the Comet EV Pace, Play, and Plush versions. Customers must go to the business’s official website or a dealership to purchase it. The company’s dealership is currently spread out across the nation.
Naman Mathur, a prominent gamer, created the design
According to a media report, India’s top gamer Naman Mathur developed the concept and design for MG Motor India’s new Comet EV gamer vehicle. Neon accents are added to the Comet EV Special Gamer Edition’s wheels and doors, and stickers on the B-pillars are removed.
At the same time, its cabin, which is formed of neon lights and illuminating materials, features neon elements. In addition to this, several unique textured materials were used to create the keys and other cabin items.
There are lit neon components inside the cabin of this Gamer Edition. Even the steering wheel is a specially-made gaming wheel. The goal of doing all of this was to appeal to gamers.
What makes the MG Comet Gamer Edition unique?
The new MG Comet gamer model, which is centred around the gaming setup, costs an additional Rs 65,000 and is available in any of the current three trim levels: Pace, Play, or Push. Gamer-themed side mouldings, wheel covers, and fog lamp garnish are added to the wheels and doors. The gaming console served as the inspiration for the stickers on the B-pillar. Along with having a dual-tone paint option in black and bright purple, it also receives ‘Gamer’ lettering on the bonnet.
The MG Comet Gamer model’s cabin also receives a hip visual upgrade in the shape of neon lights that resemble those on the exterior. The inside was upgraded with gamer-themed carpeting, purple inserts for the steering wheel, dashboard, door trims, and gamer-themed seat covers.
The 17.3 kWh battery pack that powers the basic Comet EV and the Gamer Edition both have a range of up to 230km on a single charge. An electric motor that generates 41 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque is connected to the battery. Using a 3.3 kW charger, it can be charged from empty to 100% in seven hours or from 10% to 80% in five hours.
