10,000 TVS iQube delivered in 10 days across India

TVS Motor Company is embarking on a massive project, aiming to distribute 1,000 TVS iQube premium electric scooters across ten Indian cities in ten days. TVS is India’s third largest two-wheeler manufacturer by revenue, and this massive push is intended to commemorate the 1 lakh unit sales of the TVS iQube.

In India, the TVS iQube competes with the Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, Vida V1, and Bajaj Chetak.

The iQube is an electric scooter that starts at Rs. 1,06,904 in India. It is available in two models and seven colours, with the top variant starting at Rs. 1,08,793. The motor of the TVS iQube produces 3000 W of electricity. The iQube has front disc and rear drum brakes.

TVS, like many other large manufacturers, has joined the green revolution by launching the iQube electric scooter in India. The iQube is the manufacturer’s first electric two-wheeler, with a traditional scooter-like look and a host of modern technologies, while boasting decent performance and battery range.

The iQube is powered by three lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 2.25kWh. While it charges in about five hours, the claimed range is 75 km. A 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor delivers 140Nm of torque at the wheel, propelling the scooter. TVS claims a top speed of 40kmph in Eco mode and 78kmph in Sport mode, with an acceleration time of 4.2 seconds from 0 to 40kmph.

TVS delivered 100 TVS iQube premium electric scooters to customers in Delhi yesterday and wants to expand this distribution programme. The company intends to conduct a 10-day delivery push across 10 Indian cities, delivering 1,000 TVS iQube electric scooters to clients. TVS Motor Company will mark the 1 lakh unit sold of the iQube, which was introduced in 2020. This large project will also commemorate the successful transition of the TVS iQube electric scooter line to AIS156 phase 2. This implies that the TVS iQube line now meets the Indian Government’s most recent battery safety standards.
