Flagship Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to be unveiled on February 27th

Building upon its venture into the electric vehicle market, Xiaomi introduces the SU7 Ultra, an ultra-performance variant of its inaugural SU7 model. Unveiled initially on October 29, 2024, the SU7 Ultra boasts impressive specifications:

Power and Speed: Equipped with a tri-motor configuration, it delivers a staggering 1,548 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.

Battery and Charging: The vehicle features a 93.7 kWh CATL battery pack, capable of charging from 10% to 80% in a mere 11 minutes, thanks to advanced fast-charging technology. 

Design and Interior: The EV combines aerodynamic enhancements with luxurious interiors, including Alcantara leather finishes and carbon fiber accents, positioning it as a formidable competitor in the premium EV market. 

Priced at approximately RMB 814,900 (around $112,420), the SU7 Ultra is about four times the cost of the standard SU7, reflecting its enhanced features and performance. Xiaomi has set an ambitious sales target of 10,000 units for the SU7 Ultra in 2025, aiming to solidify its presence in the high-end automotive sector.

Global Launch and Future Prospects

Following the China launch, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is slated for a global unveiling on March 2, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. The SU7 Ultra will also make its international debut at MWC, marking Xiaomi’s commitment to expanding its footprint in both the smartphone and electric vehicle markets. 

These launches signify Xiaomi’s dedication to innovation and its strategic move into the premium segments of technology and automotive industries. By integrating cutting-edge features and luxury, Xiaomi aims to offer consumers unparalleled experiences in both mobile technology and electric mobility.
