India’s Largest EV Exhibition Will Take Place in Pune

The sixth edition of the India International EV Show, which will become the biggest showcase for electric vehicle innovations in the country, is scheduled to take place at Pune’s Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre from December 6–8, 2024.

Over 200 exhibitors from five countries are expected to attend the IIEV Expo, which is organized by the Futurex Group and will showcase a variety of electric mobility solutions, cutting-edge charging infrastructure, and intelligent transportation technologies. More than 20,000 people are anticipated to attend this year’s program, including stakeholders, industry professionals, and tech enthusiasts eager to learn about the latest progresses and connect with business executives.

The Futurex Group’s director said he was thrilled to be going back to Pune and mentioned the show’s expansion and influence on the Electric Vehicle industry in India. Important trade associations such as the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), and the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles support the IIEV Expo 2024.

Through these collaborations, the program will continue to serve as a focal point for information exchange and teamwork, advancing the nation’s aims for climate resilience and electric mobility. In order to speed up India’s transition to electric mobility, the Futurex director emphasized that the program is an essential venue for promoting innovation and cross-industry collaborations.

Largest EV Exhibition in India

Aside from a wide range of exhibitors, the 6th IIEV Expo will include more than ten seminars and panel discussions on subjects important to the Electric Vehicle sector, like developments in battery technology, energy storage options, and the creation of national charging infrastructure. Over 25 new products are anticipated to be unveiled by industry leaders, making the occasion a significant turning point in India’s Electric Vehicle progress. With sales of electric vehicles in India topping 1.7 million units in 2024, these talks and product debuts herald a revolutionary era for the industry.

Market research projects that government incentives and growing customer demand would propel India’s Electric Vehicle sales to expand by 66% by 2025. Located in Pune, a city known for its automotive and electric vehicle innovation, the IIEV Expo underscores Pune’s growing significance in the Electric Vehicle landscape.
