Honda presents its 25-year European lineup and EV concepts at EICMA 2024

Honda demonstrates its vision for the future, With two new electric vehicle ideas, a V3 internal combustion engine, and other revisions to its 2025 model lineup, including the launch of the CUV e: electric scooter for Europe. In an effort to broaden its line of electric vehicles, company introduced two new EV prototypes.

A sports-focused electric motorcycle with performance on par with a mid-sized internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycle is the EV Fun Concept.It has an anticipated range of more than 100 kilometers, a sleek, futuristic design, and a battery that is compatible with CCS2 quick charging.

The EV Urban Concept, Honda’s second EV concept, has a function-driven design and emphasizes urban mobility. The goal of this model is to offer a user-friendly experience with sophisticated connection and a smooth hardware and software integration. It also has a specially designed battery pack.

Honda Future Electric Vehicle: Features and Specifications

The CUV e will also be Honda’s second two-wheeled electric vehicle to be mass-produced for the European market, the company confirmed. The CUV e is an electric scooter that offers emission-free riding, a range of more than 70 km, and features like a 5-inch or 7-inch TFT display, full LED lighting, three riding modes, and interchangeable Mobile Power Pack e: batteries. It was introduced in 2024, the same year as the EM1 e: electric moped. The new V3 internal combustion engine concept that Honda is developing for motorcycles with more capacity was also on exhibit.

Regardless of engine rpm, its 75° V3 engine’s electrical compressor—a first for motorcycles—helps control the intake air compression. This helps to centralize mass and increase overall efficiency by providing greater engine design flexibility and enabling a torque boost over the whole rpm range. Additionally, unveiled a number of revised 25YM vehicles. With two front brake discs and a redesigned appearance with crisper lines, the NC750X boasts increased stopping capability. A new TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity and a reworked seat also improve the bike’s comfort.

The A2 license-friendly GB350S motorcycle features a slipper clutch, 41mm front forks, a 310mm front disc brake, and LED lights, giving it a vintage look with a contemporary twist. Honda also unveiled its Pro Honda Oil line at EICMA, a brand-new line of lubricants made especially for motorcycles. The Pro Honda oils are designed to maximize engine performance and offer exceptional protection, guaranteeing that Honda owners may obtain premium supplies specifically designed for their automobiles.

Honda’s 25YM lineup demonstrates a significant emphasis on growing its selection of internal combustion and electric engines while also adding useful upgrades to its current lineup that aim to improve overall user experience, performance, and comfort.
