Is the New Electric Scooter Under Test Able to Compete with Vida, iQube, and Chetak?

More consumers than ever before are researching electric scooter due to the rising automotive industry. In the electric scooter sector, where acceptance is high and market trends indicate respectable growth, this effect is exacerbated. According to spy photos, Jitendra EV is one of the OEMs in this market and is developing their flagship product. Recently, some spy photos of what appears to be a high-end electric scooter under testing surfaced online. At first look, it was clear that this test mule was an electric vehicle because it sported green false license plates. Where design is concerned, this test mule looked like it came out of a Vespa’s factory.

However, Vespa is not the manufacturer of this new electric scooter that was recently sighted in testing. One of the top suppliers of electric mobility solutions in India, Jitendra EV, is clearly identified by the branding on the front. Currently, the company offers two lineups or sub-brands: Primo (Primo, Primo S, Primo Plus) and JMT (JMT 1000 HS 26, JMT 1000 3K, JMT 1000 HS). The new Jitendra EV electric scooter looks completely different from the JMT and Primo models. When it launches, we believe the company will market this nameless electric scooter as its flagship product.

Upcoming Electric Scooter in Indian Market

This new Jitendra EV electric scooter looks extremely high-end and is expected to compete with other well-known rivals including Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Hero Vida, and Bajaj Chetak. The new electric scooter is far superior to Jitendra EV’s current offerings, even in terms of componentry. The spy photos show round ORVMs with a chrome finish. In addition to being circular, the LED headlights also appear to have built-in LED DRLs. The Jitendra EV logo is displayed on a spine-like portion of the front apron. LED turn indicators are on either side of this. The huge front mudguard appears to be enclosing the 12-inch alloy wheels.

The floorboard appears to be flat, and the side profile is curved and swooping. The retro-style grab rail enhances the new electric scooter’s overall appearance. The single-piece seat has a little pillion step. The side body panels have distinct character lines, and the LED tail light assembly is really intriguing. Although the battery’s exact specifications are unknown, we may anticipate that it will have a range of more than 100 kilometers between charges. At the back wheel is a hub motor that is also very appealing. The front and rear disc brakes are further noteworthy features. The bike appears to be nearing manufacturing, and a debut may be imminent. In the future, more information may become available.
