Tata Tiago EV reaches the milestone of delivering 50,000 units

Since its debut, the Tata Tiago EV has delivered over 50,000 units, marking a significant milestone. Due to the country’s increasing embrace of electric mobility, this small electric hatchback has quickly gained popularity among Indian consumers. The Tiago EV, an inexpensive electric hatchback for Indian consumers, was introduced by Tata Motors in September 2022. It has since become incredibly popular and is now among the top EVs available on the market. The growing demand for electric vehicles is demonstrated by Tata’s recent announcement that the Tiago EV has reached 50,000 deliveries.

In addition to the Nexon EV, Tigor EV, Xpres-T, and Punch EV, Tata currently offers five EV models, including the Tiago EV. With the impending introduction of the Harrier EV, Safari EV, Sierra EV, and Avinya, company hopes to increase the number of electric vehicles in its inventory to ten models by 2025.

Tata Tiago EV: Features and Specifications

Two battery packs are available from Tata for the Tiago EV. On a full charge, the larger 24kWh battery can travel up to 315km, while the smaller 19.2kWh battery can travel 250km. Customers can select a version that best suits their driving requirements because to this versatility. Leading India’s EV revolution has been Tata Motors. The Tiago EV is a component of a larger plan to introduce ten electric vehicles by 2025, giving consumers additional choices across the board.

Soon to be added to the list are models like the Harrier EV, Safari EV, and Sierra EV, which will increase dominance in the electric market. Reaching the 50,000-unit mark is evidence of the Tiago EV’s rising appeal in India. With this hatchback, Tata Motors has successfully met the growing demand for reasonably priced electric vehicles, increasing accessibility to sustainable mobility. The success of the Tiago EV is a positive sign of capacity to satisfy customer demands in the changing electric vehicle industry, as the business continues to grow its EV lineup.
