Tata Curvv EV Vs. BYD Atto 3: The Ultimate Fight

The first electric coupe-SUV, the Curvv.ev, was introduced by Tata Motors following a number of rumors and spy photos. The scalable Acti.ev platform, which Tata introduced with the Punch.ev earlier this year, is currently the foundation of the brand’s flagship electric SUV, the brand-new Tata Curvv.ev. With the BYD Atto 3 as its sole rival, the Tata Curvv.ev thus joins the electric compact SUV market with a larger size.

BYD Atto 3 vs. Tata Curvv.ev: Features and Performance

The Tata Curvv.ev accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph far more slowly than the BYD Atto 3. Nonetheless, give Tata credit for having the quickest battery charging times for both its AC and DC charger options, regardless of whether it is a 55 kWh or 45 kWh battery. In contrast, the BYD Atto 3 may have a smaller boot (440 liters) while all the seats are up, but when the second row is fully lowered, the Chinese SUV has an enormous 1340 liters of storage capacity. Therefore, even if Tata did a wonderful job with the redesigned Curvv, the EV could have performed better with a roomier cabin.

Features from the base Creative trim have been incorporated into the Curvv.ev by Tata. To begin with, there are already features like an air purifier, reverse parking assistance, cruise control, electric ORVMS, electric tailgate, V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) charging capabilities, and LED headlamps. The top-tier Creative models have a larger 10-inch infotainment screen and digital cockpit, while the base model has a smaller 7-inch infotainment screen and a TFT instrument cluster. Additionally, Tata has added Level 2 ADAS, a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat, a panoramic sunroof, auto headlights, ventilated seats, and Tata’s Arcade.ev app suite to the Curvv.ev further down the trim line-up. In summary, there are plenty of functions available with the Curvv.ev.

In contrast, the BYD Atto 3 is a very high-end vehicle, and its 12.8-inch spinning infotainment screen is one of the SUV’s largest focal points. Furthermore, the BYD Atto 3 is available with ADAS even though its cabin may include all the standard equipment like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-power adjustable driver’s seat, and a 4-way power adjustable passenger’s seat.
