Mahindra Auto has been making significant progress in broadening the scope of its electric car lineup. The business unveiled five of their forthcoming born-electric vehicles in 2022. According to the most recent spy photos, BE.05 and XUV.e9 appear to be ending production, and a significant worldwide debut may not be far off. Mahindra BE.05 and XUV.e9 are seen in these spy photos while what appear to be TVC filming is taking place outside of India.

These units displayed all of its external design elements in full production-spec form, completely undecorated. Before we get too excited about the impending TVC, let’s see what the spy photos reveal. Mahindra Auto has developed a line of gorgeous electric SUVs with worldwide aspirations, and they should be on sale sometime in the coming year.

Mahindra XUV Electric SUV 2025: Specifications and Features

Mahindra hopes to dominate the Indian electric SUV market with its born-electric INGLO platform before extending its EV production skills to international markets. The side body claddings and squared-off wheel arches with substantial wheel claddings are also gloss black finished. The wheels appear to be roughly 19-inch ones in size. The design is five-spoke in style, but it has aerodynamic designs that give it a futuristic appearance.

The split spoiler design at the end of the fixed glass top is replicated on the rear bumper. Door knobs that pop out flush on the front door. LED tail lights have a large signature and are connected in design. A large C-shaped LED DRL signature with the lighted BE emblem is seen up front. An additional clever feature on the front is an open grill that directs air through the bonnet.

In terms of XUV.e9, the spy photo shows us two different colors of it. One in a stunning shade of red, and the other in a golden hue. It features a large fascia with connected LED DRLs, headlights arranged vertically, and a closed-off grill. Notable features include big aerodynamic wheels and pop-out front door handles. Mahindra has given the BE.05’s interior a cockpit-like atmosphere with a noticeable split in the middle.

A floating center console, two 10.25-inch screens, a redesigned steering wheel with an illuminated emblem, a sizable HUD, and other features are also noteworthy. While it lacks the cockpit-like experience, XUV.e9 outperforms BE.05 with a triple screen configuration.

The powertrain’s specifics are unknown. Nevertheless, rumors indicate that BE.05 and XUV.e9 may receive battery packs with a capacity of 60 to 80 kWh, coupled with either a single-motor RWD or dual-motor AWD system. Mahindra is now marketing cars including the XUV700, Scorpio N, and Pik-Up line in a few international regions. The forthcoming Mahindra XUV.e8 (XUV700 EV), XUV.e9 (XUV700 EV Coupe), and BE.05 are probably going to be included to the list of vehicles that are exported.
