Mahindra XUV.e9 launch date, features, range, and cost

Mahindra, an Indian carmaker, is preparing the next XUV.e9 to make a big splash in the electric vehicle market. This electric SUV, part of Mahindra’s ambitious “Born Electric” agenda, is destined to revolutionize the Indian automotive scene. This electric SUV may be the first Mahindra vehicle to feature a huge dashboard display. The test model’s interior was shown in a recent spy photo, which revealed three sizable touchscreen displays and suggested a high-end, opulent ride.

Many people are thrilled about this new electric SUV, the XUV.e9. Following this, two further electric vehicles are planned: the BE.05 in October 2025 and the e8 in April 2025. The XUV.e9 is an enhanced and high-end variant of the XUV.e8. In April 2025, the new Mahindra XUV.e9 SUV is anticipated to make its Indian debut.

Mahindra XUV.e9 Specifications

The Mahindra XUV.e9 will operate on the brand-new INGLO platform. Blade and prismatic batteries will be the two varieties available. The electricity and motor will have a combined output of 170–290 kWh and 60–80 kW. The WLTP test indicates that the XUV.e9 has a maximum range of 450 kilometers on a single charge. It can charge at a rate of up to 175 kW extremely quickly. A full charge from 0% to 80% will only take 30 minutes. All-wheel drive (AWD) or rear-wheel drive (RWD) are available for the XUV.e9.

The maximum power output for RWD vehicles is 285 PS, while the maximum power output for AWD versions is 394 PS. The XUV.e9 has not been tested for safety by GNCAP or BNCAP yet. But it may have 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, TPMS, and ADAS features like lane keep assist and auto emergency braking.

The much awaited electric SUV, the Mahindra XUV.e9, is set to debut in India early next year. This is a component of Mahindra’s “Born EV” campaign, which intends to provide a selection of electric cars for various market niches and clientele. The XUV.e9 is going to be a strong and high-end car with fast charging, extended range, and cutting-edge technologies.

It will also have a roomy cabin and a distinctive style. Given that it will highlight the potential and creativity of the Indian automaker, Mahindra and the Indian EV market will undergo a paradigm shift with the release of the XUV.e9. When it comes to electric SUVs, the XUV.e9 will be a formidable competitor worldwide.
