JSW MG Motor India is planning to introduce an electric Crossover Utility Vehicle (e-CUV) Windsor soon. The company has five new releases scheduled for the upcoming quarters. The new model, which is positioned between the Comet EV and ZS EV, is expected to launch in September or October of this year.
We’re about to introduce MG Windsor. This is what we’re calling an intelligent crossover utility car. This car’s unique selling point is that it combines the practicality of an SUV with the interior room of a sedan. There will be an EV for this. Just wait a few more weeks for additional information’, JSW MG Motor India CEO Emeritus Rajeev Chaba stated on 6 August.
There’s been a lot of talk about MG’s upcoming model, the Cloud EV, being offered overseas. Although Chaba acknowledged that the “Windsor” model will be introduced to India, he insisted that some design features would be altered.
He insisted, “It is not exactly the same vehicle,” in response to a question about whether Cloud had been renamed as Windsor for the Indian market. We’ve made numerous modifications to the vehicle. Thus, we will be introducing Windsor in India,” Chaba continued. He said that it will be placed between its Comet and ZS EV without disclosing the price.

We are introducing MG Windsor in India. This crossover utility vehicle is intelligent. This car’s unique selling point is that it offers the inside size of a sedan with the utility of an SUV. There will be a JSW MG EV for this. Just give it a couple more weeks for additional information,” he said.
The car industry has been speculating that MG’s Cloud model, which it sells outside, is being introduced as Windsor in India. “It is not exactly the same vehicle,” he said in response to the question of whether Cloud had been renamed as Windsor for the Indian market. We’ve made numerous modifications to the vehicle. Thus, we will be releasing Windsor in India. Windsor would be positioned between Comet and ZS EV in terms of price.
