The new Tata Curvv EV Battery Specifics Disclosed

Tata Motors unveiled the production-spec Curvv coupe-SUV recently, but important information like the interior layout and technical data are still unknown. Aside from the equipment highlights that our dealer sources provided, we now have updated details regarding the Curvv EV’s battery characteristics.

Details of the Tata Curvv EV battery

Similar to other Tata Motors electric vehicles, the Curvv will also come with two battery options: the 55 kWh pack will be available for higher variants, while the 40.5 kWh pack from the Nexon LR will likely be used for lower variants. Details about the range of the 55 kWh battery are not known, however, given that the 40.5 kWh battery has an ARAI-claimed range of 465 km, it is anticipated to be greater than 550 km.Ā

In contrast, it is anticipated that the Curvv EV’s next competitors, the Creta EV and the Maruti eVX, will have 45kWh and 60kWh batteries, respectively. Both Tata Curvv EV versions will be powered by a front-axle-mounted electric motor. Upon careful inspection, precise specs should be known. On the same day, the prices of the gasoline and diesel variants will also be disclosed.
