Mahindra XUV.e9 spy shots reveal new features

Mahindra is developing a number of all-electric vehicles that will likely go on sale in India starting next year. One of these vehicles is the XUV700-based coupe, also known as the XUV.e9, which is expected to arrive on the scene in April 2025. Prior to its official unveiling, spy shots of the vehicle were taken in the Southern part of the nation.

Mahindra XUV.e9 Features

The image shows the Mahindra XUV.e9 will demonstrate its coupe-like structure with a rear spoiler that integrates a stop lamp, shark-fin antenna, rear parking camera with sensors, squared-off wheel arches, and door-mounted rear door handles. Notably, the front door handles are flush fitting identical to those of the XUV700. Up front, the all-electric coupe resembles the XUV700 but with some electric characteristics such as blanked-off grille, sharper radiator grille and air inlets, full-width LED light bar, and air curtains. The LED headlamps also receive cubical styling, front parking sensors, and a front-facing camera.

Notably, since the camera module is visible on the ORVMs, the XUV.e9 will be outfitted with a 360-degree surround camera. At Mahindra’s test site, XUV.e8, BE.05., and the most recent official teaser for XUV.e9 were there. Since XUV.e9 is the only one with a back charging connector, it is likely to have a special battery configuration when it is released. All INGLO-based cars will have batteries that can hold between 60 and 80 kWh. The launch of this XUV.e9 is anticipated to occur sometime in 2025.
